    • Hi Ritz,

That’s great that you’ve been working out for 11 years!  I could never find a regimen that I would stick with until I started practicing yoga.  I think it’s the mind/body connection thing.

There are many types of yoga practices, I prefer Hatha and Vinyasa flow. I don’t recommend that you start with the most challenging yoga poses, regardless of your strength.  You need to work on balance and flexbility first then build on it.  Shiva Rea is really good, but go back to her earlier DVDs, some of the new ones are rather odd mixes of dance/yoga...

Try Yoga Journal Magazine online, they have many resources and reviews of DVDs.  Keep me posted on your progress happy

    • Hi there...

I’ve been working out since my son has been born 11 yrs ago.  I’m not fat by any means, but I do weights afor toning... but recently (last friday) ran into a friend that looks so toned... she said she owes it all to Yoga...

Can you recommend any exercises, dvds I can purchase for more maximum toning... I feel like my body needs a change in it’s usual routine.
