About me

music is my passion(“Let the music from your soul touch another’s heart.“) and I feel most at home performing on stage. I am a singer/songwriter and released a country/blues/Jazz CD in 2005 under the name of Genius Girl(www.myspace.com/geniusgirl). Then I gave birth to my jewelry line, Genius Gewelz(www.geniusgewelz.com) These days my performing is in front of children ages 6 months to 5 yrs old however, I’m itching to get back on the stage again either in a Jazz trio or stage production.
I have been with my husband for 16 yrs total and married for 8. We have 3 furry children: Hannah a 14 yr old Besengi/Sharpei Mix and our Lab Mix 10 month old joys of terror, Bruschi and Brady who were named after my husband’s favorite football team, the Patriots.

      I’m in Portland OR right now.  My father passed away on Sunday and I’m here with my brother sorting through a lifetime of memories and other flotsom & jetsom!

      We don’t go out on another ship till Dec 14th.  Thanks for checking in on me.  I’m still in a bit of shock right now, but doing ok.

      Our weekend was great. The weather was just gorgeous. The colors have not started changing yet. It will be about two more weeks. Also, Alabama won again. We were thrilled. Still ranked #2 in the nation.

      I am so glad you and your husband are going to see Fireproof.  It really opens up your eyes…and I know that I will be buying it for my home collection of movies.  

      I pray that it will touch yours and your husband’s heart and will inspire you both to work harder at your marriage.  

      Believe me I’m no where close to having the perfect marriage….and I need to go see it again myself.
