    I am interested in blood clot awareness, making new friends, finding old friends, maintaining 30lb. weight loss, CAVS basketball, putting together cute outfits, and being a good mom.

I am a hairdresser and have worked for 22 years, all at the same place.  We all have years of experience.  Until 2 weeks ago we had a 96 year old woman working in the shop who did nails and cleaned up the place.  Unfortunately she had a stroke and is recovering.  Wouldn’t surprise me if she tries to come back to work.

I am married and have a 16 year old son.  For the last seven months I have been trying to get well enough to resume duties patroling the Ohio Erie Canal Towpath.  Last August I had knee surgery and developed blood clots and a pulmonary embolism.  I mention this because it is quite common after having arthroscopic (which I had) or replacement surgery. So I’ve been back to work 5 months and ready to ride my bike again.  This winter I logged over 300 miles on an exercise recumbent bike.
