* The November Sky * There is Something About The November Sky It arrives full of fall and leads winters cry, The autumnal backdrop...Robust, Full of pride as the foliage is turning; few trees yet to cry.. their leaves of Burnt Orange, Yellow and Gold accenting the Browns, rusty yet bold. The leaves, some maroon, cast an invite to play against billowing clouds, all shades of gray. There’s Something About The November Sky rainbows in sunsets, cotton clouds reaching high, their pinks and the blues in contrast so bold against a horizon on fire with gold. There’s Something About The November Sky In all of it’s beauty brings tears to my eye for a time long past to all but me a time in my childhood...naive and free In memory long past so crisp, so clear In Novembers Sky long ago And in Memory right here!
