About me

One of the authors of a fun blog called Where’s My Damn Answer (http://www.wheresmydamnanswer.com). This is a blog that we decided to start to give us a place to rant, share, laugh and ponder while we are looking for life’s answers. There are six women writing there.

Besides that – I’ve got a whole other list of titles (Wife, Mom, Friend, Sister, Aunt … the list goes on and on).

My business is designing jewelry. I do it full time and have developed a great company called My Little Pretty (http://www.mylittlepretty.com). I sell direct to stores and have a lot of fun seeing what used to be a hobby change into something totally different.

    • Hi Kendal – We don’t sell direct on the site any longer just to the stores. I do sell though – basically if you have a color that you‘re looking for, I can email you images of what we have available, etc.

      I used to work in entertainment industry too – haha. In their Legal Dept though – here in Hollywood.

      One of the beautiful things about designing is that it allows you to let go of that bad stuff for awhile and create something beautiful.

      I actually turned to designing jewelry when I went through my divorce. It eventually became a part time gig and then after I married again – it got to a place where it was time to see just what we could make of that hobby turned business.

      I’ve actually been toying with the idea of doing the Vancouver and Calgary Gift Shows. Too funny.

    • Welcome to you fellow newbe. I’m happy to have another friend. I’m recovering from a depression and live a very quiet life compared to the years I spent doing wardrobe and catereing for the film industry in Calgary Ab Canada.
      I’m just getting back to creating again. I design corsets and sell them in a friends boutique. I have created all of my life. Marriage ended badly after a 18 year shift

      Love hanging out with family and friends. Our fun time consists of watching or 13 yr old son play sports, playing golf and occassionally my husband and I get out for time with friends (which usually includes wine – haha).

    • Favorite Books

      I just finished Eat Pray Love and loved it.

    • Favorite Music

      I like a bunch of different stuff – the thing that takes up the most space on my ipod though is funk and r&b music.

    • Interests

      adventures together, wine, reading books, painting, baking, cooking, making jewelry, hypnotherapy, music, kids and much more.
