  • Favorite Activities

    I’m not quite as active as I use to be.  I have, however, joined a great gym and have slowly been getting back into a routine.  I love walking around Disneyland, going to the beach, cuddling up and watching a good movie (usually with my hubby) and crocheting!  Lately I’ve been making blankets for a great organization called Project Linus.  The blankets are donated to children sick in hospitals or living in shelters etc.  It’s a very rewarding pastime!  If any of you have creative juices and knit, crochet or quilt let me know.  I can give you the info on the organization if you want to donate.

  • Favorite Books

    I love any book by Nora Roberts, Luanne Rice, Debbie Macomber or Danielle Steel.  I also enjoy Nicholas Sparks (a good cry is a great release) and I like the suspense of John Grisham.  I also find myself very interested in bettering myself, so I often buy new self help books or reference books on subjects I want to be educated on.

  • Favorite Music

    I like a wide range of music.  Mostly top 40, but some country, rock, jazz and easy listening too! I’m pretty well rounded and open minded when it comes to my music taste!

  • Interests

    My interests range from wine tasting, to scrapbooking, to hopefully one day visiting all 50 states.  I have been to quite a few, but look forward to seeing them all someday. I enjoy playing old school games on Wii like Galaga and Donkey King.  Always a kid at heart! I also like long drives and sight seeing!   I also have such an interest in weddings too!  I’m not a planner, but I just love helping any friend that is getting married and I love going to weddings so much!  If anyone ever needs an assistant I am there!!!  A possible career choice down the line perhaps.  Do they have wedding planner assistants?  Any leads let me know.

I am a warm hearted always smiling 43 year old who found her soul mate at the age of 38!  Life didn’t quite play out the way I had dreamed... but then I found my true love, and all the pieces have now fallen into place. I have never been happier!  I’m helping to raise my adorable little stepdaughter who is 7.  We share custody with her mom and actually all get along!  We‘re a very happy blended family (think Demi, Ashton and Bruce)!  Good for everyone all the way around.  I’ve lived in Southern California since 1980, but am actually from back east (born in PA, lived in Farmingdale New York, Louisville, KY, Fremont, CA, Phoenix, AZ and southern CA).  I’m still a very down to earth girl and miss the slower life style sometimes.  But CA is home for at least the next 12 years till our little darling Katie goes off to college.  Turning 40 has actually seemed like a blessing for me.  I feel like I know more, feel less intimated to do what I want, and just basically feel “fabulous“!!!  My mom has always said age is just a number (my husband is seven years younger than me... and we have had such a strong connection since our first meeting at Downtown Disney)! I have never felt my age and really just look at it as a number!!! A great one at that!!!  I’m embracing my 40’s and look forward to what’s ahead!
