About me

I'm a people person! I love meeting people, talking with them, really getting to know them below the surface. I'm also a writer who spends hours each day in solitary confinement before the computer screen. Seems like polar opposites, doesn't it? But it works for me because whenever possible, I selectively interview and include that material in my books and articles. Journalistic writing in this style brings me so much joy that I am convinced this is exactly what I was destined to do at this phase of my life.

Lois W. Stern is the author of the award winning book, Sex, Lies and Cosmetic Surgery, (Infinity, 2006), soon to be republished in a revised edition with a CD enclosure. Lois invites prospective cosmetic surgery patients, physicians, and media to visit her website to read other articles and/or sign up for her monthly newsletter at: Sex Lies & Cosmetic Surgery
