    • Oh, writers are beyond cool. I love them.

      Wait, I am one! heh.

If only I weren’t burdened with terminal ADD, I too could pump out a book like grownup authors do. Alas, I can’t sit still long enough to work on anything longer than a quick story about City Hall cost overruns. So, I take my hat off to you, my dear.

      WAY. TO. GO.

And I will also be happy to help promote the book. I did so for a guy in Seattle who just published one on generational differences in the workplace. Talk about fascinating …

Let me know what I can do!

    • I would love to partner in some way for your book signing! Thank you for the positive thoughts, we made it through the storm beautifully, especially compared to a lot of other people around here…
email me when you get closer to the event and what you have in mind… we’ll make it happen!

    • Hi! I’ve been traveling…wanted to let you know I got your question about Katie Byron’s book “Loving What Is“. I am really loving the book and wishing I had someone to bounce off of! I’ve been reading it off and on since February. I downloaded the worksheets off of the internet…from her website. I really like the concept. I have always been one to worry about what others think and have wasted so much energy and time thinking about what others think!!! When it really doesn’t matter and isn’t MY BUSINESS!!! which is basically what she is saying…right??? See what I mean…I think I understand it but I would love to have someone else read it and maybe discuss the concept…to make sure that is what it means…this probably makes no sense at all.

Would love to talk more…but I have my very first book signing in three hours and I’m getting a little freaked out…eeekkkk….talk with you soon. ~~~ Dana

    • I’m a writer and entrepreneur. This fall, I have a new book coming out with Bloomsbury: LOVE JUNKIE: A MEMOIR. It’s about one woman’s dangerous addiction to love, sex and relationships. (See http://www.rachelresnick.com for more info, or join my LJ group at Facebook).

I want to spread the word and share it with as many people as I can. I wrote it because I wished I’d been able to read a book like that when I was younger! I hope the book touches readers, and maybe wakes some people up.

Here’s what Janet Fitch, author of WHITE OLEANDER and PAINT IT BLACK says:

“Reading LOVE JUNKIE is like watching a sleepwalker taking a stroll on a freeway. All you can do is pray. Gorgeously written, piercingly honest.”

I also am founder and CEO of Writers On Fire (http://www.writersonfire.com). We offer luxury writing retreats and private writing coaching throughout the year.

I look forward to being part of the community and getting to know new people!

      RR
