Hi fabulous people, I’m Nikki. I live in the beautiful university city of Cambridge in the east of England. I am a wife (for 14 years), a mother (two daughters aged 12 and 9), a part-time Market Research Executive and a few more things in between.

I love meeting new people and believe that you can never have too many friends. I have been fortunate enough to travel quite extensively around the world but there are still so many places that I want to visit. My favourite places include Barcelona, Barbados and New Zealand!

      I love the sound of laughter in my home. Watching my daughters grow and become lovely people to know. I enjoy sitting on the banks of the river in the sunshine watching my husband row.
      I dislike intolerance, walnuts, traffic jams, grey days, visiting the dentist and crooked politicians.

      Nearly everything by Jodi Picoult, Bill Bryson and John Grisham. Particular favourites include Memoirs of a Geisha, The Time Travellers Wife, Lovely Bones, Perfume, To Kill A Mockingbird, Angels and Demons, Five Quarters of the Orange…

    • Favorite Music

      Music is my passion. I have eclectic taste and enjoy everything from loud rock to mellow chill out….just not into jazz! My favourites include Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire, RHCP, Killers, Maximo Park, Goldfrapp, Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith…..

    • Interests

      When I’m not busy just juggling the household chores and needs of an active family I enjoy cooking, entertaining, decorating, live music, dressmaking, making jewellery, reading, skiing, travelling, TV (especially Pushing Daisies, Top Gear and Heroes) and shopping.
