After two intense years at a community college I transferred to UCLA. I took the high school proficiency exam and left high school at the age of 16 with a plan to attend community college and transfer. I have reached my goal and I have began a new chapter in my life. I have moved out, away from my tight-knit family, to Los Angeles where I have started my new journey. I’ve impressed myself in that I am surviving in LA...considering I thought I wouldn’t like it. Turns out—I love LA—I love my friends, and most importantly I love the education I am getting. I have obtained in AA & BA in Sociology and a minor in Education. Luckily, I talked to the right people along the way who were able to guide me on how to reach the goals I wanted to accomplish. If you or your kids have any questions in regards to the high school proficiency exam, community college or even universities, I am always glad to help where I can.
