About me

In 2006, I started a home based jewelry & gift business called My Attic of Treasures. At this time when you go to my site you will see mostly beaded jewelry pieces and a few pieces in Chain Maille. In the near future, the site will be more geared toward my Chain Maille line. If you don’t know what “maille” is, please visit my web site and view the “What is Chain Maille” page.

On a personal note I have been a widow since December 1st of 2001. I am happy to say that for the most part I am ready to move on with my life and to start dating again.

On top of everything else, I am also a full-time caregiver for my mother who will be 90 in July.

      I have fibromyalgia, so I really don’t take part in any activities.

    • Favorite Books

      I am a big fan of the Harry Potter series, and no it’s not just for children. I also really enjoy the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind.

    • Favorite Music

      My favorite band is Matchbox Twenty, and in October of 2007 I was fortunate enough to meet the band at a local radio station. As far as other music goes, I’ll listen to almost anything except heavy metal and most rap music.

    • Interests

      Besides making jewelry, I love to read, crochet and do many other crafts.
