    Anything uplifting or self help, but I prefer womens’ magazines right now, really, due to them being easier to read.   I find it hard to find time or energy to get immersed in a good book lately.  I love them, though.

    Anything Old School!  John Williams movie scores, 70’s soft rock, disco,old school hip hop, bossa nova, drum and bugle corps, Earth Wind and Fire, Heatwave, Chicago, Steely Dan, DeBarge, Stevie Wonder

  • Interests

    I Love Lucy, bilingual families, the Spanish language, adoption, haircuts and haircolor.  I don’t do my hair too frequently as I’m trying to grow it out, but I LOVE looking at other people’s haircuts and haircolor - I’m obsessed!

Hi, my name is Raquel.  I have been happily married for 8 years and my husband and I have two sons, ages 7 and 5.  I teach English as a Second Language full time at the elementary school level, and have been teaching for 17 years.  My husband and I are also looking into adopting a 3rd baby (maybe a 4th)!
