    I enjoy boating, hiking, listening to live music.  I just bought an old/new house so right now I’m into remodeling.

    I don’t read much but when I do I tend to go for the self-help type books that focus on the quality of love and life in general. If I had another career choice I would become a therapist of some kind.  I’m inquisitive about the things that make people tick!

  • Favorite Music

    I really like the groups Disturbed, Nickleback and 3 Days Grace.  I enjoy anything from pop to metal.  Classic rock is good too!  I just recently starting listening to the christian group Casting Crowns.

  • Interests

    Home projects, flower arranging/wreaths, gardening and animals.  I enjoy a good movie every now and then. My favs are Shawshank Redemption, Funny Farm, My cousing Vinney, and Christmas Vacation. Have recently watched all the “SAW” movies including SAW 5!!

I found this site back in September 2008.  What a great place to get support, ideas and discuss issues that concern all us wonderful ladies in our 40’s!

I’m 45, divorced, no children, and after 6 years of tainted relationships and/or being alone, God sent me a truely wonderful man to share my life with. I have a dog that’s like a child—and I treat her as such. I rescued my little black cocker spaniel mix, “Happy-Go-Shadow” from the local shelter. She repays the favor with her love EVERY DAY!  

I’m a very caring, giving person and I enjoy the simple things in life. I try to find the best in people and look for hidden treasures along life’s path. It thrills my heart to help someone with encouraging words or to be able to advise them using wisdom gained from my past experiences.  

This site is great to have someone to talk to during the day. I’m the office manager at a motorcycle dealership and work with guys all day.  The conversations around here consists of whether the units are a 250, 750 or 1100. I also hear at least one “big boob” story weekly, not to mention all the distasteful guy-talk I happen to run up on during the workday.  I miss my girlfriends!!!
