About me
As you can tell from my screen name, I’m passionate about tea. Have been involved in the tea industry for almost 25 years in one way or another. Currently, I am in the midst of a divorce after a 24 year marriage. That too shall pass. I had seen it coming for probably 8 years so this was not the shock to my system like so many others. I’m ready for this new phase of life and I believe I’m the very best I’ve ever been.

Thank you for your request to add you as a friend. I, too love a new an interesting tea…hot or cold! There is lovely little Tea house in Up-State New York in a little village named Ballston Spa called The Whistling Tea Kettle. It is about 15 minutes outside of Saratoga Springs, where I was raised. The tea is fantastastic…the sandwiches and desserts are to die for. I will have to search down their web site link and send it to you….but if you are ever in Up-state NY…check it out! You can order their blended loose teas from their web site. I’ll get you the link.
On one hand, I am sorry to hear about the end of your marriage, but on the other hand, you seem to be looking at this phase of your life like it will be journey that you will enjoy and from a positive point of view. Good for you! I can also see that you are a woman of faith.
You are are very right about my screen name…Shepherdess…I normally add the number 5 to it…because I am the shepherdess of 5 children, but now that they are slowly leaving the fold…I have become the shepherdess of many, women and men alike on my blogs, web sites and forums that I write and speak to and coach on mid-life transition, crisis and depression. God called me to this about three years ago when He was growing me in to my second-adulthood. He has blessed me over and over again with this calling.
I guess I should have sent this to you in a PM instead in an open comment…but I got to writing and couldn’t stop…a bad habit that I have….forgive me.
