    I have a new found love for exercising and jogging. I am running in my fourth 5k at Thanksgiving. I also teach adult GED classes two nights a week.

    I love anything by Nicholas Sparks. Right now I am reading a book called Prime, about the sexual discovery of women over 40....very interesting..

  • Favorite Music

    My favorite right now is country. Being a child of the 70’s I also love the oldies, but it mostly depends on my mood. I have everything from Rascal Flats to Coldplay on my ipod.

  • Interests

    This changes almost as fast as my hot flashes appear! But I love to mess around in my flower garden, rescue kitties, (I have 8 cats at the moment), read, going out with friends and redecorating my house...

I live in the beautiful state of North Carolina. I grew up in Los Angeles and also spent some time in Georgia and Louisiana. I am a teacher by day but find myself a student the rest of the time as I am learning to maneuver life as a 48 year old empty nester who has decided there is more to living after the kids are gone but you have to get over the perimenopausal hurdle first!
