    Currently working on a Silent Witness Oral History Project.  Working on taking oral histories of survivors of domestic violence, as well as friends/family members of those who died due to comestic violence.

  • Favorite Books

    I read a lot of books on relationships and domestic violence due to my line of work, which I have a calling and passion for.  When I can steal away for a good read, I love books by John Saul, Mary Higgins Clark, and many more.

    One book that I LOVE recommending to those who have fallen prey to victims of crimes and/or circumstances—WHAT DOESNT KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER:  TURNING BAD BREAKS INTO BLESSINGS, by Maxine Schnall.  It’ll turn the viewpoint of every victim to victors!!

  • Favorite Music

    Anything but rap or extreme heavy metal.  Just don’t see the point to rap.  Words are so downgrading and dehumanizing.  I would have thought they would have faded by the wayside by now.  Some of the rappers are hearing the voices of the masses and are changing up the lyrics a bit, etc., but they are few and far in between.

  • Interests

    Watching my granddaughter grow and watching my daughter handle her antics.  Turnabout is fair play, isn’t it? :)

    Love going to the movies.  Favorite actors are Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery. :D

In 2008, I had the opportunity to DJ on the internet, as well at a club in Canyon Lake Texas.  I’ve had a blast.  If I could do that on a regular basis, I’d do it in a heart beat.
