    I love the use of language and the texture it brings to a story but I also look for characters ? so I'm big on biographys ? I love history so will read Philippa Gregory but will also read about the infamous Mitford Girls from British history.
    My other favorite authers are George Simenon/ Rebecca Wells/Fannie Flagg/Armistead Maupin/ Alexander McCall Smith/Joanna Harris /Kate Hickman to name a few a very few (I had to move to accommodate my book collection)

    As I now know we have a lot of Henry VIII fans here David Starkey Six Wives - The Queens of Henry VIII - As must have book.

    I love shopping which is also part of my job .
    I love television CSI ? NCIS ? actually anything crime based which has now made me wonder why the British police don't have all this technology.
    I was a huge Coronation Street fan ? I've hated it since Bet Lynch left.

I’m a fake blonde from Manchester (North of England) with a penchant for leopard print ( I think this is due to my alter ego Bet Lynch from Coronation Street having a wardrobe full.) I live in London near Battersea Park .....which is an oasis of calm in the City. I love City life and especially London with all its history and amazing architecture and the people who live besides.

I’m struggling with my weight but who isn’t ? maybe it would help if I stopped scoffing chocolate / cakes and anything else in the fridge.

I'm a retail anorak which means I'm obsessed with any form of fashion retailing or general retailing ? in fact I'm classed an expert in the UK...........so my job as corporate PR in retailing is perfect. I love my job with a passion and have some amazing clients. I work with my daughter who is the light of my life.

I'm a Cancer fighter ? I've been doing unarmed combat for the last 10 years with this disease and some days are better than others. But  I can honestly say it's the best thing that ever happened to me ? as I now stop to smell the coffee and flowers and I enjoy every minute of life before I ran through in a blur not appreciating anything around me.

I’ve got a great set of girlfriends who are all very strong women and a lovely life- they have all become strong due to their life and what they have been through and that's why we love each other.

I love this site but sadly I seem to on at the end of my day as your all just starting your day...

So I now seem to be staying up late.....but who cares I’ve made lots of new friends and the warmth and the strength I have found has been amazing .........
