Who are we?

Fabulously40 was created for every woman 40 and beyond, who is ready to celebrate this exciting stage of her life. Relationships with families, friends and even ourselves are undergoing profound change, and it seems like the time is right for something new.

As more and more women enter their fifth decade, some have forgotten about the importance of nurturing themselves. It was always about their kids, their significant other, careers, PTA meetings, soccer practices, and everything else life threw their way. For some women, it was about sacrificing all of those things in order to advance their careers and get ahead in the world. Others worked so hard to take care of people they love that they forgot to pay attention to their own needs. In the face of lifes endless demands, many women lost sight of their own persona. And in doing do, they forgot who they once were.

At Fabulously40, we believe the time has come to start having a life of your own!

Having a life of your own doesnt mean you love your children any less. It doesnt mean you no longer adore your partner, or you are not the best daughters to your aging parents. And it doesnt mean your commitment to your career is any less.

What it does mean is you now give yourself permission to take care of you. It means you allow yourself -- without guilt -- to indulge in hobbies and interests that fulfill your own personal needs. For example, joining a book club, starting a small business on the side, or just spending time with your girlfriends on a girls night out. In other words, carving out your own space and time just to be you.

Having a life of our own has an amazing recharging effect. It allows us to become better mothers, wives, girlfriends, daughters and friends. It helps us to bring new energy, passion and commitment to the most important relationships in our lives. And it prepares us to accomplish more than we ever dreamed possible.

At Fabulously40, we dont claim we can save your marriage or relationships, bring your kids back home, or help you find nirvana. And we dont claim we can boost your career or help you find Mr. Right. But we can stimulate your thinking and transform your perspective. And we can challenge you to live your life to the fullest.
