Today is a tough day for me. While I had my surgery, and I know that I must heal, I am doing waaaay to much on a daily basis. As a result, my pain level is VERY high today. Even though I take a major narcotic, it really only helps to take the edge off. I realized that I hadn’t worn my back brace in a few days, and it makes a difference! I wanted to go to church today, but alas, I will be flat on my back the majority of the day. How on earth can I stay positive, when the pain is so prevalent? The weather plays such a huge role in my pain as well. When it’s cold I feel like I got hit by a truck upon waking. I need to take my Doctor’s advice and move to a warmer climate. His suggestion is Florida. I think not….LOL I’ll be moving at the end of the year to a town called Salinas. The weather is a bit warmer and we won’t have the overcast like we do in Marina. Anyway….enough whining, just given you all an update. Take care, and rest your body. It’s the only one you have :)
I am so sorry to hear about your discomfort. I wish I could offer you a solution. The only thing I can think of is essential oils. I use lavender oil daily since it is so very relaxing. What I do is sprinkle few drops on my pillow each night and I fall asleep with a huge smile on my face. This would not reduce your pain, but it might help you to deal with it mentally.
My company has two products great for pain that I developed, but unfortunately they would not do anything for you since they are not medicine for chronic pain.
I wish you sunshine :)
My pain is elevated from this weeks stress, sitting, and over working. WIth Psoriatic Arthritis one has to be careful not stress, eat right, relax and exercise. All understood, now someone tell how to do keep this regimen while building a company, raising kids, being a wife and a part time daughter?
I have Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue (I am not those things however) I am in treatment right now with a Chiropractic Neurologist and I am taking some awesome supplements that are progressing me in my recovery. My wish for everyone is Good Health and I want to do whatever I can to help anyone who is in pain because I know what it feels like. Please take a look at my site and be ready to feel better fast.

I know of what you speak-I have RA, as well as 2 discs that are desinigrating in my neck and a nerve problem in a foot that developed from being in a cast long enough to heal the bones but give the nerves an on-going problem. Like Yana, stress isn’t good for the RA. I can tell you from experience “learn to say NO” to what you know will only cause you pain in the not so distant future. Rest when you can and remember-anyone who knows you, won’t be mad about being turned down.
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 8 years ago. Some days are so painful that I feel like someone de-skinned me like a piece of chicken, every nerve ending feeling exposed!!! Then some days I feel like a “normal” person!!
I feel like I’m the only one sometimes, that deals with the ups & downs of this condition. I think it’s time for me to find out about other busy women who deal with this on a constant basis and still work full-time, take care of a house, kids and spouses!!!
Ladies, anyone who is suffering from chronic pain should no MUST take this test
www.alcat.com it's food sensitivity test, I went from being active to completely disabled in a matter of one month, but after following a diet of foods that didn't effect my body I was back walking in 5 days.
PLEASE check it out and email me if you have any questions.
Fibrmyalgia could be a thing of the past it’s definitely worth a try.
My legs have been hurting me lately . Not sure if it is from not eating right.
wow.
Hi everyone..
my body aches as I sit at the computer, and then I just find this site, and join, and find this forum. I am amazed. I know how many women and men fight chronic pain all the time, and what a tax that can be on life.
Perhaps in the future I can be of some assistance to one or many of you…as I struggle through finding non narcotic and natural ways to reduce pain. My husband and I both deal with chronic pain on a daily basis. He was injured at work, mine? who knows..the doctors sure don’t.
I am up for making friends, we just moved 2000 miles from home out to the country, where it is a bit more difficult to meet ppl.
blessings to all
