...two places. I love wine festivals and then I love sipping at home after work while cooking or reading. My leather chair and ottoman by my living room window is the best place.

Wineries. I feel so fortunate to be able to drive to a great winery in my town. We are members, so we hang out frequently. We even “date” there, take a picnic, it is romantic and relaxing. We have approx. 30 wineries to visit within 30 minutes.
This is our local winery, McConnell.
Here is my “Diva” group enjoying an afternoon at the winery.

Dana, I like your post. You and the girls look like you have lots of fun. Honestly, there’s nothing in the world like girlfriends. My husband just shakes his head and laughs but he sees me light up when I’m with my pals.
And, I love the “sipping sommelier.” It has a great ring to it. I hope you’ll give your opinion and recommendations often!
My husband collects wine and is a member at Cosentino in Napa Valley.
For Christmas this year I bought my husband an older bottle of Barolo. We‘re hanging on to it for a few more years. And, for a gift we received a Super Tuscan that I hear we need to save until 2014. I’m looking forward to that.

I was in Napa valley in July. I had great fun. I wanted to go to Frogs leaps winery. My Brother just bought a winery here in Tx. I guess it takes a few years for grapes to grow.

I love sipping wine, at the end of the work day, with a favorite tv show or with a good book. I also love sipping wine while in the bath tub or out with friends.
