When I was a young child I always dreamed of having my own company, whether it was big or small, I wanted to run my own operation.
I have fulfilled this dream of mine by having my own design company.
I have many goals that I look forward to accomplishing in the near future, I will keep you posted!
Bravo, Stephanie! You should be so proud.
Your ambition is inspiring.
Thank you for the invite!
“What you believe, you can achieve“.
Thanks for invitation and congratulations with your achievements!

Thanks for the invitation, Stephanie! I’m not prepared to answer yet, though…I need to think about this one!
Lisa (againali)
Agreed, this is a great question! Off the top of my head? My three beautiful children, growing pains and all!
Career…I could have gone so much farther but jumped off the train and no, don’t regret it! I wasn’t CEO or anything, but what I did, and still do, am loving it!
Personally….I’m learning to love myself…that’s the biggest accomplishment of all, knowing I’m not perfect, and not caring who doesn’t like it! I think getting to 43 gave me that insight!
Entrepreneural….I’ve been down that road, with more than one things that didn’t work, now it’s time for me to do what my heart has been telling me, I’m still in the garage but my goal is to do it my way in my own time!
Unfortunately, a successful, satisfying career is something that has always escaped me in my life. I continue to hope I’ll achieve accomplishments that will mean something to me as well as others.
But what I feel I have accomplished in my life is having a very successful second marriage and step-family. I have learned to handle the delicate balance of getting along in a sincere way with the exes, as well as to make a happy home here in my house for our kids, who all live under this roof full-time. It has not always been easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is!
Also, I do feel some sort of sense of accomplishment when I hear my 18 year old daughter try to talk sense into one of her siblings or one of her friends, and she uses advice I have given her over the years (advice that I’m almost positive she balked at the time when it was given)!
Hi Lisa,
THAT‘S a HUGE accomplishment. I can so relate, sometime I cringe when my kids lecture my younger daughter in the same tone of voice using the same words.
But, it’ a good thing.
As far as your career, don’t give up yet, take your writing skills and capitalize on that.
Have a fantastic weekend.
Thanks for the kind words, Yana! I hope your weekend is wonderful as well.
I could sum up some of my topmost accomplishments:
Well… what I have accomplished in my life time (I feel that I am still so young) I feel that I am really proud about is that I FINALLY been able to produce a hand-sewn historical reproduction for a U.S. Historical Site that is on display currently (Wayside National Historical Site, Concord, MA.) My entire life I only dreamed of this opportunity because I was always in love with History. I gave up a possibility of a family for this dream so it meant everything to me that I was able to achieve it! The other thing that I am really jazzed about is that I am published in a book now for my Art. I have also been published in a few magazines that I am proud about as well. So many years of sacrifice and doing without has now in my 40’s paid off! Yippeeee!
For anyone that is wanting to achieve a goal or a dream please for your own sake don’t stop striving for it because you never know it might pay off one day!
You women are just wonderful and I feel good reading your posts. I have worked in women’s empowerment and learned how to understand the workings of patriarchal mentality. I run regular women’s circles and the women who participate in these love to call us the “goddess group“. it’s been very healing and empowering. i have witnessed women in all shapes, sizes, and ages who are beautiful. I no longer subscribe to the adage of physical beauty that I see in commercials, glossy magazines and hollywood action films. I think I am decolonized and de-brainwashed!! lolol
and omg!! i could just pinch myself for not mentioning the people I love and the relationships I have with them—- my beloved three sons! Greg, Brennan and Skyler. They are the loves of my earthly life. And my dear husband of 20 years. We almost didn’t make it, but we worked on our selves… and we have come to a new marriage where we believe in spiritual partnership.
My greatest accomplishment is raising three amazing daughters. I am so proud of them! They are all so different yet so alike. They are so much smarter than I was. I’m excited for their future!
Another… being in my 5th year of owning my own business! Very challenging but sooooooo worth it! I’ve been nominated “favorite photographer” in my area for the past 4 years, and I have made it on preferred photographer lists at venues all over northern Indiana, including the Basilica at the University of Notre Dame.
I am proud that my staff and I have been able to help local chapters of the United Way, YWCA, St. Margaret’s House, and anyone else we can squeeze into our schedule. We always have fun!
