      The holidays are coming. Not a great time for those of us who are always watching our weight. Anyone have any strategies for sticking with our plan of keeping our weight in check between now and the end of the year?

      I’ve started running again and just the increase in exercise alone is helping. I’ve also been tracking my fitness minutes on Sparkpeople and joined a women’s running group over there. But one thing I’ve found is more motivating than anything else when it comes to sticking with my plan is to track any successes, no matter how small.

      I keep a photo on my Sparkpeople page from May 2009. As I lose inches and take more photos, I post those right underneath. I’m amazed. Even though sometimes it feels like I’m not really making progress, the photos don’t lie.
