How is everyone doing? It seems like this group has lost some steam. How can we rally the troups again??

I’ve been resisting the scale so I don’t know what I weigh but I’ve got a few clothing items that I try on every week. I know my weight’s down but the pants I’m using as a guage seem to be fitting the same over the past couple of weeks. So, this week I’m planning on changing my food a bit to see if I’ve been eating too much or eating incorrectly.

I’m typically not a fan of diets per se. But because I seem to be in a plateau of sorts (or maybe I’m just a little bit desparate) I bought the food list booklet for the blood type A in the “Eat Right For Your Type” plan. There’s absolutely no concrete scientific evidence that eating this way will work but I’m not going to be closed minded. And since it really doesn’t restrict a particular food group completely I’ll see if I benefit from it over this next week or so.

      How is everyone doing?

        • I think I’m also going to have Joe take a photo of me today. I have some photos on my computer that I put side by side for a comparison. That usually gives me a little positive motivation.

        • That’s great Virginia. Say, what did your hubby decide to do with that HCG diet? Is he going to do it?

I’m still training on my treadmill. I was able to do 5 miles this morning but at a slow pace. It took an hour and 15 minutes! I’ll need to pick up my speed in the next few months.

Do you ever get over to Sparkpeople these days? I haven’t been on there much except to post photos so I can have a comparison.

Have a great day!! Looking forward to hearing about your vacation.

        • I’m glad he’s lost weight this past week, Virginia. I hope he uses it as an opportunity to establish habits that will be life long. Good for you on the 2 sizes!! And having to take back the dress because it was too big, well, that’s just a bonus.heart

        • Good job Virginia!  I stopped walking because my leg was hurting, but I saw a doctor and have been given the green light to start exercising again happy  I have to buy better food to take with me to work so I don’t rely on the vending machines.  I feel ready to loses some more weight and so pleased I haven’t gained back any of the weight I lost.
