It’s a New Year and of course we all have things we want to work on. Well everyone knows it does take 21 days to create or break habits.
Please post here what your 21 day challenge will be. Then check back daily to update us on how it’s going.
If a few days go by without checking in then we need to CHECK on that person and offer up our support.
If you don’t want to join in on the 21 day challenge we will still gladly accept your support!

I’m doing great on the water on the days I’m not working in town. Work days are taking a little getting used to and I probably won’t get to the point where I drink enough while I’m at work, but I did better this week than last.
Next challenge?
For me it’s going to have to be about exercise.

I hope everyone is doing well. I’ve been so busy with school and work I’ve done well by default. I bring my food with me in a cooler and that’s what I have during the day. On average, I’m eating fruit, vegetables, yogurt, sandwiches - a little throughout the day. I munch on a cut up red bell pepper in the car driving home in the afternoon. It’s sweet, it quenches my desire for something crunchy, it’s cold and it also seems to satisfy my thirst. This way I don’t hit the fridge or, worse, the crunchy salty snacks when I walk in the door. In essence, I’m eating the way I did last year at this time when I had a full semester load and still managed to lose 50 pounds.
My 21 day challenge is not to munch between meals. It’s been a struggle- it’s always a struggle- but I’ve managed to respect it for two days in row now.
I am admitting to the failure of my 21 day challenge. I’ve had so much personal stuff going on with my son the past two weeks that all of my motivation for myself has gone out the window. I’m going to really try to get back on track and drink my protein drink at least once a day.
I’ve got to take care of everything I’m dealing with...but I have to start with ME!!!
