Of course they should. He broke the law. The country's chief law enforcer broke the law. HA! You can't make that stuff up.
But since TeamBush didn’t see fit to hold Alberto Gonzales accountable for his crimes (and why should he, since Berto has been wiping W’s chin for 14 years) let’s hope the incoming administration finds its cajones.
Obama and Biden sure seem ticked off at this executive branch’s abuses. They talk a good game, but will they grant some sort of goodwill immunity? I’m afraid they will.
That’s where The Maverick (and Caribou Barbie) come in. The agents of change. Going after corruption in government. Yessiree bob!
Will a McCain/Palin administration prosecute the former US Attorney General for knowingly mishandling top-secret documents?
Hell, we know it's a crime -- W's henchmen got former Clinton aide Sandy Berger convicted of it just a coupla years ago. So precedent is set.
Maybe it’s not god’s plan to put Mr. Gonzales in jail, though.
