I have put up a chocolate blog on blogspot and I’m looking for feedback. It’s new so still somewhat of a work in progress. But, I have a favor to ask any of our fab40 members who also maintain a regular blog on blogger. Sometime when you‘re logged on, would you mind taking a couple of moments and visit mine and leave a comment? I would like to start generating some traffic there. Also, if you have a blog on blogger, let me know the address and I’ll visit and give it a thumbs up on Stumbleupon.
The address is
Playing With Chocolate
Many thanks!
Cynthia
I went to your blog and my mouth won’t stop watering! The header has a wonderful photo!
I love how you encourage the reader to make their own chocolate treasures. How nice of you to share your knowledge.
Great site…can’t wait til there’s a PayPal button for me to buy some goodies!

It looks awesome. I cant wait to buy some. How long before your selling. Not tonight though, right? lol
I’m with Lisa – a Paypal button would be just the ticket for this chocaholic to continue her addiction!

Wonderful site. Great job. Thank you for the recipe. I have always been a lover of white chocolate. As a young girl I received a white chocolate bunny for easter!
Hi Cynthia,

I have used blogger for a year now. I did buy a domain name with my blog title but I’m still working on setting it up so it’s as easy to use as blogger. Time consuming!!!
I love it! Do you mind if I put your blog on my blogroll!? I’m sure others who read my ridiculous blog would love it, too! I’ll stumble your blog as well!!

Cynthia – Cheryl,
What are your thoughts on combining personal & business blog into one? Should they be separate or intermingled. I have a personal blog where I sometimes post health related issues. I am all about expediency. If I can do both in one place that would be my preference… but I also want the best time ROI. In the end it all boils down to what will drive more traffic. I don’t want my friends to avoid keeping in touch because they think I am ‘preaching’ about wellness, and I don’t want to drive away potential customers by talking about my personal life either. But, to me, it seems so much easier to only have one platform for both. I’d love some input on this! What I’d really like is to have the capital to just hire someone to set it all up for me so that I could post both in one place and then link them together somehow. For now, my online budget has been suspended until I start seeing a constant steady stream of revenue from that area. I feel like I am trying to build a house without a hammer though. :(
Dee Dee, I have a thought. For me, my business blog is all about chocolate. A personal blog would be about everything and anything else. Sometimes I look for other blogs about chocolate for ideas and I see recipes for chicken cutlets and lamb stew and then cute pet photos, for me that is a turn off. If I go to a blog expecting something and I actually get something else, I leave and I don’t go back.
For you, if your personal blog and your business blog intertwine well, I don’t see an issue. Your business is about health and overall quality of life. Sharing some of your life in a business blog may actually work in your favor. It shows people that your approach to health gives you the ability to live a very full and rich life.
Cynthia,
I was thinking the same thing about my personal life being a turn off. I guess the bottom line is I need to work on the ‘real’ website so I can link different blogs together and be centralized in that way. Darn! I just wish I had someone to do it for me. :)
