Beware of artificial sweeteners. Many diet plans are laden with them (including weight watchers.) They are not only neurotoxins, but they can actually make your body crave sweets. Use google – type in Splenda, aspartame, sucralose.
Most flavored waters have artificial sweeteners.
Stevia is a much healthier option, or xylitol.
I have suffered the ill effects from them and done some extensive research.
There are much healthier ways to lose weight. I don't know anyone who has lost weight just by using artificial sweeteners and not changing anything else in their diets.
However, I know LOTS of people who have lost weight without using artificial sweeteners.
I know most people just write it off and say ‘what’s the big deal?’ They wouldn’t be on the market if they weren’t safe… right? Please at least take some time and do some research before you come to that conclusion.

I so agree! A few months ago when I was researching about a health issue I have, I did quite a bit of reading on sweeteners too and from what I read decided they were not for me! I avoid artificial sweeteners almost 100% of the time and go with healthier alternatives. I read labels of everything, but I know sometimes its gotten slipped by me, especially when at other people’s houses. Thanks for making the post Dee Dee.
Thanks for the post deedee. Splenda has tried to pull the wool over our eyes saying it is a derivative of sugar. Yeah, a chemical derivative. Artificial sweetners first came about for use for diabetics and also to help with tooth decay. I personally watch my sugar intake and I use Stevia to sweeten my drinks and cereals. I agree to go as natural as you can. It isn’t good for the body to put chemically laden foods and beverages in it. The body doesn’t know what to do with it.
