Good Morning Ladies and "Happy Sunday"  to you! I'm not sure what your weather is in your part of the world but I te-te-te-te-tell you it's freezing here in Michigan Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! tongue out I hate winter's in Michigan we either freeze our buns off or we have to fight through the mounds of snow and ice just to get around, but so far we've not had a lot of snow at all and I pray we don't! estatic Well for the most part I plan on just remaining here at home and chillaxing with hubby till he leaves for work. How will you ladies be spending your Sunday?

        • Good Morning beautiful lady! Going to the movies with my daughter this morning to see Breaking Dawn. Then i thought we were going food shopping but just noticed there is a 1 pm NFL playoff so that idea may be put off until Tuesday. Probably best...i’m still under written docs orders to REST! I have until Thursday, i should take until Thursday. This doesn’t happen often in life...lol. Have a wonderful day!

        • Good morning ladies! happy happy

I worked hard yesterday, slept like a rock last night, and managed to pull myself out of bed at a decent hour so I can make dinner rolls to take to church for lunch.

Weather is supposed to be fairly nice, temps in the mid- 30s.

I’m limiting my to-do list to 5 things today.

        • Well!  My nice relaxing Sunday got all shot to hell!!!  Stopped over at my daughter’s house and found the youngest daughter’s purse sitting open on the arm of the sofa with a pack of cigarettes in it!  Of course I went thru the roof.  She openly admitted they were hers and I slapped her up side the head (yes, Literally).  The kid is out of control and I don’t know how to deal with it.

        • She’s nineteen and she’s heard all the speeches on the evils of cigarettes.  She knows the damage they did to her grandfather’s health, she knows her great grandparents died of lung cancer directly related to their smoking.  That’s why I’m so angry.  She KNOWS all this and yet she still chooses to be stupid.

        • Again Tulip, I feel your pain and your frustrations, but when they get to a certain age and to a certain point in their lives we have to learn to let go and turn our faces I know it hurts and makes you just want to shake the hell out of her, but it is her life and her decision, prayerfully she will come to her senses soon and not want to smoke any longer.

        • I know you‘re right.

It’s just really hard to admit that I have no control over them anymore.  Not that I’ve ever had much control over that one.  She’s as wild and rebellious as her sisters are calm and sensible.  She’s a brilliant kid with apparently no common sense.
