It’s amazing to me how much our founding fathers took into account and planned for in creating our country!

I have never seen a more controversial time in govt. I have never seen such devisiveness in the country. I have never seen so much corruption. I have never seen more questionable acts. All of these things have existed, but to a much smaller degree.

But, thanks to the brilliance of the people who thought things through the country still remains in the hands of the people! The last few years have shown me how easy it would have been for certain people to take over and susbstantially change our way of life! But just hearing how people speak, what they say, and how the view the country - I still have hope. I’ve seen more patriotism and less apathy than ever before.

When I look at what has happened in Venezuela, the circumstances and progress are so similar to ours - yet there is one difference. Here, there is more power in the hands of the people.

Absolute power certainly corrupts absolutely. So when potential tyrannts and dictators, meglomaniacs push the buttons of the American people, it is clear that the American people will push back.

This November will be very interesting as we will really see the power of the people. Buzz is already on the street that the careers of most incumbants (democrat and republican) up for re-election will come to an end.

Capitalism, free thinking, free enterprise still has a chance to flourish, thanks to a true democracy. I still have hope for the future.

      Love it
