      This story (see links below) is still breaking, but the model (Ms. Cohen) won her case and learned the identity of the blogger who was trashing her on the “Skanks in NYC” blog on the web.  Ms. Cohen “feels sorry” for the blogger and said today on Good Morning America that she has “forgiven” her“.  Still, she will be suing the blogger, who is an accquaintance, for defamation and lost wages.

      This helps to define the internet and especially blogs as real part of life, with influence and impact on society.  It may also shift the burden of responsibility onto the accusers and rumor starters in the cyber world...
