It is HOT in NJ but no water restrictions yet...how are you all holding up to summer’s wrath?
Heat wave and drought often of hand in hand. We‘re supposed to get to 108 today. Sunday was 109 and the days in between have been slightly cooler. The corn crop is pretty well burned up across much of our state, the grass is crunchy underfoot, there are no rain clouds on the horizon.

Just looked at the 7 day forecast and next week it’s supposed to get down to 98.

Yessss the other day we got up 105 degrees, hot, hot hot lol.

So today it’s suppose to only be 99 and cloudy. I have to pull weeds

106 here at 5 pm today. Can’t imagine what our electric bill is gonna be!!!

We also have had some horribly hot days, some around 100, but I just keep counting off the days to Autumn weather.
After having the hottest month on record, nationwide, Georgia is slightly cooling off, with highs usually in the 80s and nights in the 70s.
I am very very ready for cold weather, especially given the mild winter we had last year. I really should look into relocating to where the weather is colder, for I truly cannot stand summertime!
