Good Morning Fabber's. I'm home today from work with what I think is a touch of the flu bug, nooooooooo I didn't do the flu shots I never do, and still won't get them. Well we here in Michigan are gearing up for one of thee most worst snow storms around so they (the weathermen) say. We're looking at 18 inches or more of snow talk of a blizzard like storm with blistering winds. Well I don't plan on trying to go out in it no matter what. I hope you all are having a great day and wherever you are be safe.

        • Good morning ladies, hope everyone stays warm inside wherever you are, sounds pretty chilly out there.  Feeling guilty (but happy just the same) to have good weather here in sunny southern California. Though its only 48 degrees here in HB this morning, you‘re probably laughing but thats chilly for us!  happy

        • Hbrose:  I know what you‘re talking about...weather wise.  Sometimes you feel guilty for talking about “good weather“.  Neicy and everyone else in the path of the winter storm....stay safe, stock up on supplies, and have something to do when stuck inside...like a book to read, or a project to work on..especially if you lose electricity.

I’m ready for SPRING AND SUMMER.....WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF YOU??????Who is with me on that?

        • Mary I am soooooooooooooo ready for the Spring/Summer season which is my favorite seasons I hate winter with a passion. I just don’t like the icy driving conditions that it brings the snow is beautiful to look at when its freshly fallen on all the earth but I don’t like being cold or being out in the cold.

        • Morning Ladies, clear and cold here this morning and suppose to warm up into the 40’s. We had snow on Sunday. Rose, yep... I remember 48 seeming pretty chilly down there. I
think it’s the dampness? I always feel colder up here when it rains and in the 40’s than when it snows.

The rest of you stay warm and safe!

          Hugz heartheart

          P.S. Neicy...sending prayers for a speedy recovery.

        • Good afternoon ladies.  The sun is finally out here, but the high temp for today is zero.  And the wind is blowing like a banshee.  Water froze up last night, but finally got thawed about ten this morning.  Daughter stayed over last night because her house was about 40 degree inside and the water was frozen.  Tonight is supposed to get down to -20.

        • LOL, staying warm is easier said than done. It was cold at work because the furnaces don’t work right when it’s this cold.  Forecast for tonight says windchill of -45.    I’m ready for spring I think.  I usually like cold weather but this is too much.
