      Hello Ladies,
I was sitting and thinking about how my attitude has changed with life and aging. I mean this in a good way in my opinion, I have noticed that with getting older I no longer tolerate childish behaviors of those who are age appropriate meaning overly grown folk 50+ who know better. I have deleted a lot of people out of my life who weren’t going anywhere or trying to do anything with their lives, those who seemed to be leeches, just clinging on to you with no significance. I have made the decision to only surround myself around those who can celebrate me and enjoy being around me and keeping things drama free!

I find that with me aging gracefully it shows me just how immature others are and I thank God for His wisdom, knowledge and plain ole common sense lol. I had women around me who acted like plain ole silly teenagers and it made me cringe to see them act out so unruly and just plain crazy till I had to walk away from most of them. I would hope that they would realize how silly and ignorant they looked and even sound and some dressed too loosely in my opinion, but I guess sex does sell and many were looking for sex in all the wrong places, “outside of their marriages“, so I had to as the kids would say “BOUNCE!” LOL.

But I guess my age is telling on me or is it that I just value the morals and values I have for myself. My mother did raise me right thank you Jesus! Are you there yet!? Meaning realizing that being mature and age appropriate is not a bad thing, its the mature thing.happy

      Love it

        • Neicy,

          YES,I am there!
I feel like I was born mature. Being confident in myself, I’ve never had trouble saying no to any situation/circumstance that I felt would undermine who I am. I’ve always treasured myself-Glory be to God!
My dear sweet mama and grandmama were“teaching machines” by word and deed. How blessed I am to have had Leading Ladies in my life. They lived their lives before God and me in such a way that I saw no need to deter from my teaching.
I’ve made my life choices carefully from friends to lifetime partner(my hubby), church affiliation to job retirement and in all areas of my life.   I continue to analyze, mull over, pray and listen to God’s leadings in my life.

                             God bless you!
