Aromatherapy is the art of healing with "Essential Oils" distilled essences that have been extracted from plants.  You can harness the healing & uplifting qualities of plant fragrances to help you Relax. Unwind, and even treat minor ailments.

LAVENDER: will be the first fragrance we will explore.  You can use these fragrances in many ways to create a serine tranquil atmosphere, or to set the mood for a romantic evening with that special someone. Lavender is my favorite scent. I have a bottle of the essential oil on my headboard. It is very relaxing and helps me fall off to sleep. Jerry and I love giving massages to one another. I like to use baby oil gel. I add a few drops into the bottle UMMMMM...it smells so good..I also add a few drops in to my dryer sheets when I dry our bed linens. Another thing I do is add a few drops to my house hold cleaning product..So when I am wiping down my room I leave the fresh sent behind..Try this idea it will amaze you..I run myself a nice hot bath and add a few drops in my tub..Then light my Lavender candles..(You can purchase Lavender scented bath products) Pour yourself a nice glass of wine...a little low mood music..Ahhhh..Smell the relaxing fragrance of the oil surrounding you. Its peacefulness and tranquility will lift your spirits, and smooth stress away.
Aromatherapy also involves the use of Incense (all kinds) Potpourri, Steam Inhalation, and Fresh Cut Flowers and Candles. Add a few drops to your Candles to give it a real boost or to burn multi scents together.

Let's Get Started: Essential & Blended Oils. You can purchase small bottles of oil (I recommend small ones first to see if it is something you will use) you can find them at On Line, E-Bay, Flea Markets, even Dollar Stores. Undiluted oils can seem expensive, but you need only apply a few drops in Vaporizers, Steam Inhalation. If you like you can dilute your Essential Oils with a Carrier Base, such as Avocado Oil. It is recommended if you are going to use the oil directly to skin...10 drops in 30ml of Carrier Base.
