      ASTONISHED BUT NOT CONVINCED
"Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief."
      Matthew 13:58 NKJV

Unbelieving and unreceiving.  The Bible says Jesus went back to His own country
and taught in the synagogue. The people were astonished and wondered where He
received His wisdom and His mighty works. But they were offended by Him, and did
not believe. They were astonished, but not convinced; so Jesus did not do many
miracles there. They were unbelieving and unreceiving.

The Word of God says, in James 1:6-8,  if you doubt; if you don't believe; if
you waver; then don't expect to receive anything! Nothing!
If you are unbelieving, you will be unreceiving... You may be astonished and
amazed by the Word of God and the people of God. You can be overwhelmed and
overcome by the miracles you've heard and the scriptures you've read, but if you
don't believe, then you won't receive. You're astonished but not convinced!
      You're unbelieving and unreceiving!

God is still a miracle working God. He doesn't change and there are no
boundaries on what He is able to do. To not believe, is to say that He is not
      Lord; He is not sovereign; He is not able; He is not awesome; He is not Creator;
He is not Sustainer...To not believe, is to say that you don't have faith in God.
"But without faith it is impossible to please Him..." Hebrews 11:6

Don't let unbelief take over and make you miss your miracle and make you fail to
receive your blessing! Let faith drive you; move you and encourage you! There is
nothing too hard for God; and there is nothing impossible for Him.

"For we walk by faith, not by sight."

Do you really believe or are you just astonished, but not convinced?
