        • Lord, we’ve talked around You and Your plan, but now we put pen to paper and let You know that we are angry at that which the enemy tried to steal.  Louisa has been struck down, but not destroyed.  Louisa’s mother is now being pulled in so many directions, and am sure is completely emotionally wrung out, she is hard-pressed, but not crushed.  Her sister is doing battle on another front and can only spare so much of her own self; she is persecuted, but not forsaken.  Father HELP!!!!!  Direct us in how to defeat the enemy in this battle; we are perplexed, but not in despair.

Help us to be patient as You show us the solution You’ve already walked out and let us not be distracted by momentary set backs or obstacles or arrows from the enemy, but let us keep our faces set as flint toward the goal set before us, to glorify You in all our ways.

Lord when we falter, send a refreshing to keep us moving forward.  When we cry, keep those tears in a bottle. And when we rejoice, let it be all toward You, acknowledging Your Hand on all of us as we strive to do Your Will.

No matter what Lord, even as the enemy tries to move us around like pawns, and distract us from serving you by making us angry, You said be angry but do not sin.  Help us to use that righteous indignation to defeat him at his own game.

Jesus, we leave it in Your Most Capable Hands.  AMEN!

We lift up Louisa to you, Father God, Almighty. She is in your loving and capable hands. We pray your will over her Lord, that if it is your will she will return to full health. We trust, Lord that you are the One who can make this happen. We trust also, Lord, that all things work to good to those who love you and are called according to your purpose. Thank you for Louisa and the purposes you have created her for. In Christ Jesus. Amen.

        • Prayer to Saint Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.

(Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying

                  Louisa Rodas

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

        • I am a close friend of Louisa Rodas and her brother. I went to grade school with her and her 3 siblings and within the last few months we had contacted each other on Facebook. We have had such a wonderful time getting reunited with each other. This is such a horrible and shocking event. I visited her twice so far at Hackensack Memorial Hospital. She is miraculously improving each time I speak with her brother. She has a long way to go yet but the Dr.s didn’t even think she’d make it this far. It is so hard to see my friend in this condition. Thank you for your prayers and thank you God for sending beautiful, loving strangers into our lives like the people here on this site. I will tell her brother that you are all praying for her. We need a miracle. This lady is a beautiful, loving person! She is inspiring, non-judgmental and real energetic. I cherish the memories I have of us playing together back about 30 yrs ago. Louisa and her brothers were always so much fun and I have never forgotten them. I am so glad that we found each other again on Facebook. As for her improvement in more detail... she is breathing on her own, she is moving her left side and her good eye opened and was trying to focus. These are all positive signs that our Louisa is not lost. She still hasn’t awoken from the coma but each step is a miracle thus far. Keep praying! She has a long way to go but I refuse to give up hope. I will keep you informed.

I know she is feeling so very, very guilty about what happened to Louisa although she should not. May God give her the peace she needs and the comfort she needs in her soul. The whole family needs the peace and healing that you can only give, Lord.

January 22, 2009 Hi, Louisa’s being moved to Kessler to start her rehabilitation today she will be in the west orange facility. She is stable now however she has a long way to go.We are awaiting brain scan results to begin to understand how she is functioning. The next few weeks should tell us what we can expect for her future abilities. I will try to keep you posted on her progress. Thanks for your concern and prayers.

God is doing a miracle here. Louisa is a strong, determined girl and she is so blessed to have a husband, brother and sons who love her so much and who have nothing to gain from Louisa but to see her alive and well.

Let them feel your powerful and divine love throughout their minds and bodies. And Lord give us miracles for Lousia and Denise. And for these miracles Lord we will give you ALL of the glory.

I’m not very good at saying prayers in words... but my heart is filled with the need.
