      For most of my life, I’ve gone along with the crowd.  My family wanted me to cook meat and I did.  But this spring, I decided that I wanted to eat what I thought was right for me.    My meat-loving husband could not have been more supportive.  We‘re adapting well and we‘re both having fun with all the new recipes I’m trying.

        • Congratulations!  Your decision may not only be healthy for you but it also helps save the earth’s resources as well as cuts down on global warming.

          If you haven’t read it yet there is a great little book called “Diet for a Small Planet.”  Full of information as well as recipes that offer complete proteins.  It’s a quick read and a great resource.

          I’m proud of you!  But don’t feel guilty if occasionally you crave meat.  I eat it a few times a month.  Most woman are anemic after all.
