I am way to busy to stay home and cook a roast in the oven these days,so my slow cooker has become my friend!!!!!!!

2 to 21/2 lb chuck roast

1 or 2 cans of black beans rinsed and drained

                 1 medium onion chopped

                 4 cloves of garlic

                 1/4c flour

3 to 4 T Adam’s reserve southwest or verde rub

                 2 t of oil

                 2 can tomatoes w/green chile

1 bottle of cookwell Bock & Brown Sugar Marinade

Cut the roast into section combine flour and rub and season roast. heat oil in pan brown roast, then add onion and garlic and saute for 3 mins add can tomatoes and cook for another 3 mins. Spray slower cooker with cooking spray, remove roast and ingredients into the  slow cooker, then add black beans and the bottle of marinada.
Cook for 6 to 8 hour until fork tender and serve over rice or in tortillas. ( you can cook this in a pan on the stove for an hour or until fork tender. I like it in the slow cook. Enjoy!!!
