Whats on your dinner menu this Christmas? Is Christmas Eve your big dinner night or Christmas Day?

        • MMMM Neicy...How much is a flight to your neck of the woods??? LOL
That sounds great! Im still working on making up my mind. I am 100% Irish but when it comes to cooking Italian I can really hold my own...everything from scratch and my kids are saying Italian.  I went to my sisters for Thanksgiving and really missed cooking that big traditional holiday meal. I will be having anywhere from 11- 16 people for dinner. My wheels are turning...Im going to make a feast!

        • So, I’ve decided on the theme. I’m going traditional not Italian.

A whole turkey ( not sure if I’m stuffing it or not yet...probably) and a whole baked ham with pineapple juice/brown sugar/ginger ale glaze topped With pineapple riNgs and chunks and maraschino cherries. Not sure of the sides yet but...I’ll figure it out as I go along.

        • I was going to do crown roast but have decided on cornish hens and ham.

Potatoes in every form (my daughter is a non meat eater), as many vegetable dishes as possible.

          And of course DESSERTS!!!!!

        • I’m terrible.  I haven’t got a clue yet if we are even having Christmas dinner.  And if we do I don’t know what it’s going to be.

I’m leaning toward Christmas brunch with sausage and waffles and all the trimmings.

        • We will be having a big breakfast late in the morning and then for Christmas dinner I’m thinking we will have either tenderloin or ham, scallopped potatoes, and green beans.  And of course, my picky kids will have none of the above. frown  But they do like the breakfast stuff! estatic

        • Hubby said he’s been craving macaroni and cheese with ring bologna  (ICK!! on so many levels) so I’m guessing that’s what he and DD#1 will be having for Christmas dinner while I have something that won’t make me sick.
