My oldest lives at home and attends the local university.  Well it is now summer break.  She isn’t taking any extra classes and does work evenings at the local Panara.  My biggest grief with her is that when she is on break she is really on break.  She doesn’t help around the house unless I start bitching about it.  She comes and goes as she pleases and expects for me to deal with her pets (a rabbit and a cat)messes.  If she would just help me with some of the house work without me throwing a fit I wouldnt mind all the rest of the stuff I deal with.  I keep pointing out to her that she is very lucky that she can go to school and not have to worry about a place to live, and other bills that I had at her age.  When I was her age I was working full time, and raising her.  I wish that she would take more responsibilties around here.  I wish that she would get out of bed before 11:00am.  Don’t get me wrong I am proud of her but I just wish that she would do more.  do you have any of these around your house?
