    • We are in the middle of decorating our sitting room and our red wall has just become a soft green and I can feel the calmimg influence already. Not that I felt the red made me uncalm, if you follow, but the green and soft ivory is really soothing.

I miss the splash of dramatic red though so will may think about using in the dining room. Red is meant to stimulate the appetites...not that I need much of that!

What are the current popular colours for you all in US? Here there is a lot of emphasis on browns and neutrals but I do like to inject a bit of colour!
How do you feel colours affect you in your home?

        • Few years back dark burgundy and reds were very popular, lately everyone switched to more mellow colors such as beige and browns.

I personally faux finished my house in orange/yellow shade, and I love it. Here is a picture.
