There are three major places to aquire coupons, newspapers, coupon websites, and company websites. Here’s the difference betwen all of the.

Coupon websites - You can receive coupons from websites like and

The websites will download a small add on to your browser that is safe, and keeps track of the coupons you print. When you see a coupon you like, download the maximum it will allow you to. Not only is your quantity limited, but in many cases, the manufacturer limits the total printable amount, so get them while you can. New coupons are added mostly at the beginning of the month, so March 1st, there will be lots more to choose from.

One thing to note is that many of these coupons state “Do Not Double” on them. Some stores ignore this and will allow you to double, some wont. It’s trial and error, but dont count on doubling, if it says so on the coupon.

Newspaper coupons - These are typically the best, as they can double, and are usually in line with sales soming at your supermarkets over the next few weeks. Keep some coupons that you probably wont use, they can be parlayed into cash back in the future. More on that later.

Manufacturers websites - Visit your favorite brand websites, and often times if you sign up for their newsletter, they will give you printable coupons. One of my favorites is Eight O‘Clock Coffee. You can enter your product codes, and earn points for $25 Visa Gift Cards. I buy my coffee when its buy one get one free, and use the coupons on the bags from previous purchases. After the $25 gift cards, my coffee purchases end up being free.
