      For those seeking a roommate for the Fab40 cruise in October post requests here to find others also needing a roomie.  

      Cruise FAQs:  

      What are "quad" share staterooms?
      Four persons sharing the same stateroom with bunkbed style beds (two people must be able to climb up a short ladder to the top bunk). Be prepared to share cozy, close-quarters including just 1 bathroom ladies!  But hey, what a price!

      Are there wheelchair accessible accommodations?
      Yes. Modified staterooms for wheelchair accessible accommodations are available at the twin-share prices listed on the Fab40 flyer. Once you register and pay the required $50 deposit to secure your reservation, Carnival will assign your modified room. [Link Removed] 

      How do I register for the cruise?
      A $50 deposit per person is required with the booking registration form as soon as possible to secure your reservation, deadline is May 26th (see link below to register).

      Will I need a Passport?
      A U.S. Passport is highly recommended. Other acceptable ID is U.S. Passport Book, U.S. Passport Card, as well as, a Certified Birth Certificate with a government-issued photo ID. For U.S. Passport information go to, [Link Removed]

      Is the cruise for Fab40 Premium Members?
      Yes, and you may bring a guest to share your room. If you're not already a Premium Member please join at

      Which cruise terminal do we sail from?
      Long Beach Cruise Terminal.

      Which airport do I fly into?
      LAX-Los Angeles Int'l is the main major airport.  Also, Long Beach Airport, a small airport close to the cruise terminal.  

      How do I get from the airport to the cruise terminal?
      Taxi or there are several shuttle services that offer shared-transfers $16-$20 per person one way from/to LAX; $12-$14 per person one way from/to Long Beach Airport. [Link Removed]

      If I drive can I park my car at the cruise terminal?
      Yes. Port of Long Beach Parking Lot charges $15 per day. Handicap parking is also available.

      What if I get seasick?
      On a big cruise ship, such as Carnival Paradise, motion exists though its usually fairly minimal. Dramamine and the Patch are handy to have on hand (also available onboard).
