      Breakfast :
      Cup of coffee w/flavored creamer = 1
      2 slices WW toast = 1
      1 TB peanut butter = 2

      Lunch :
Lean Cuisine Steak Panini = 6
      1C skim milk = 2
      1C Low-fat cottage cheese = 3
      1 serving pears = 1

      Dinner :

Lunch was so late that i won’t be having dinner.

I did have a ‘treat’ today:
      Sugar Free Jello cup w/dollop of Redi-whip = 0

So, at this point, i've only consumed 16* points of the *26 i am allowed.  Maybe there will be popcorn in my future for the 3rd evening in a row...or maybe a banana...or a weight watchers chocolate cake...or, or, or...

      I love options!

Also, i’ve been thinking...after my first week, i’m only going to post weekly.  You are all probably growing weary of ready my daily food intake.  The first week is the most difficult for me so the daily accountability is necessary.  Thank you for indulging me.  :c)

        • Those lean cuisine panini’s are great! You are doing so good! Keep up the good work!
Those treats start to have such a different meaning. I still get so excited when I know that I have earned a cup of macaroni and cheese...it makes you want to eat right and earn those well deserved treats.

        • Daphne you are doing well. I don’t know if this is your first time on WW but I lost 50 lbs in 2004 and have kept it off. I occasionally fall off the wagon but the best thing about WW is that you get back on it.

What works for me is keeping that journal.

          Good luck
          keep me posted.

        • Mayra...this is the second go at Weight Watchers.  I lost 65 pounds about 2 years ago and thought i’d gained 20 back when, in fact, i only gained 10.

        • Congrats! I did WW for a couple years, that combined with Curves, took off 70 pounds! I have gained 20 back, and am working on that again...sheesh...it is soooo hard! Keep up the good work :)

        • Thats the good thing about WW you can always go back and once you learn portion control and self discipline it will all come off.

I’m sure you need the support, but please keep a private diet journal. The details of what you eat are too tedious and mundane to post to the world. You cannot be that self absorbed to really believe anyone cares.

        • Aren’t you just a sweetie-pie, robyn!

While i may have needed the support at the beginning of the week, i’m feeling pretty confident that i’m going to do just fine on my own.  As i stated up top, i thought i’d begin posting weekly comments about my weight loss.  While i’m marginally sorry that my posting causes you enough trouble that you felt it necessary to post a complaint, i’m not sorry that i’ve been doing it this way.  If you care to look, you will see that i was fortunate enough to acquire considerable support for my plan before i ever implemented it.

How ironic...the very day that i comment on a friend’s blog about the need for some people to be nasty, someone takes a shot at me.  Thank you for verifying my statement.

        • Robyn,

THIS side of the home page is for COMMUNITY groups. There are Sisters in Christ groups, fertility groups, diet groups, entrepreneur groups, pet groups. No one is making you read this particular group post.

And Daphne is right-many Fab40 members were cheerleading her and giving their own “mundane” “self-absorbed” stories when she started this group post.

I can’t believe instead of just ignoring a post someone found so trite, that person would post something so bitchy-yeah, I said it, BITCHY.

        • robyngrrl, I’m not sure where you think you got off when your train of thought came to a stop, but it certainly wasn’t Congeniality Station.

And I’m curious to know why you have only made one post, and it was only to insult someone else. Would an IP check pop positive for a match to another identity, perhaps? One without claws?

        • By the way, Linda: Way to go on sticking it out there for our scrutiny. It’s hard enough to remain accountable to ourselves! I appreciate the motivation you‘re providing, too!

          Keep up the good work!

        • Thanks, Heather.  My intent was to make it more difficult for me to "cheat" and up the ante on my accountability...and i guess it was  kind of selfish to take up space on a public forum.  I'm done now, though...if anyone asks, i'll share how i'm doing.  Otherwise, i'll just keep on keepin' on.

And thanks to everyone who has cheered me through my first week.  I couldn’t/wouldn’t have done it without you!

        • Kika!!!  You KILL me!  I can imagine what it must be like to go out for a drink with you!  Rock on, sista!

I think Heather may be onto something...perhaps someone has a beef with me/my posting and created a “ghost” name to tell me.  My skin is thick enough to take constructive criticism from those i know without getting all whiney and bitchy.

I’ve said it before, i’ll say it again:
It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.

        • Yeah, if anyone (besides me!) is paying attention, that “person” hasn’t been back since her little zinger.

I actually think there are a few women walking around under more than one membership name. Most of the time they have no idea that it can all be verified.

I’m glad the support you’ve gotten here has helped you, and those of us who matter wouldn’t mind a bit if you continued on. Whatever you choose, we‘re here for ya.

I just HATE mean spirited people. And she has not been around here long enough (at least under the name Robyn) to offend anyone.
I feel like you guys are my family, and I don’t go for anyone messing with my sisters!
She had me doing the black woman neck while I was typing!

I have also enjoyed reading your updates Daphne. I think I told you before how Ruby inspired me enough to get back to business because I have been in sort of a lazy rut!
