Day 10, that’s it! Hanging in there and meat free. I have been mismanaging my protein and my overall food intake (or lack therof) was not feeling so well yesterday so today I made sure I had some white fish and drank some milk (blah—no, not at the same time but I still think milk is alittle bleckky). I am feeling better already! Quiche for dinner and leftover eggplant parm will be tomorrows main meal.
Thanks to all for the kind comments and support—especially Cynthia and Vikki Hall! I have tired several of their recipes throughout this and suggest you do too...here is where we try to keep ‘em:

Has it been 10 days already?? Wow!
We had artichokes again the other night. We also bought some portobello mushrooms at Costco. Joe grilled chicken one night and ribs last night and both nights grilled the mushrooms and some veggies for me. delish!
I’ve been eating a lot of oatmeal for breakfast. Today I came home from work and was hungry so I made a cheese omelet with egg beaters. That was good. Joe warmed up the leftover ribs for himself. I’m going to make a salad later after he goes to an evening meeting.
I also drink a lot of soy milk. I know it’s not for everyone but I like it.
No offense to anyone but I could never go without meat...but good luck on your challenge!
I’m with you Karyn! We had steak’s last night. Hubby has had us cut down on our red meat intake but I’ll never give up a good filet mignon or ribeye.
Good job woman!!
But, for me... I’ll eat meat! lol The paleo lifestyle, for me, is the only healthy way to go.
ok while I am hanging in and doing my thing I think tonight I break down and have comfort food!!!!!
Tonite for dinner I am going to have pancakes with banannas and walnuts..... lots of syrup and butter too!
BTW I was told to drink 1 cup of soy milk per day to help with the peri meno thing. I will try to choke down some chocolate silk......

Hey there! I think we are on day 19 of being meatless. For me keeping things simple and easy works best. Working out and eating right is very time consuming so I wanted to keep it really simple.
I think I will blog on day 22 telling how I fill....

So how has going meatless helped??? I rarely eat meat. Rarely eat breakfast and lunch for that matter. Dinner most nights includes chicken but not that much red meat.
Need I do more??
xoxo
Doreen you do need to do more.....
You need to eat something in the morning and then every 3 hrs or so after that. I pretty much break up all my meals. I am eating about 1300 cals per day.
I will blog more soon.
