I only have one child and I don’t remember getting one...but that was 24 years ago.  Now you hear or see people being interviewed on TV saying what type of “push gifts” they got from their husband, or what’s a good gift or not.  And now that I think of it, I use to know a gal at work who got a new car!

I want a push gift, but not the kid!  Haha.  I can think of a lot of push gifts now!

What did you get or have gotten from your spouse as a “push gift“?

        • No, hubby did not purchase me a gift for the delivery of my son.  That was 21 years ago and I had never heard of that back then.  Also, I didn’t expect a gift.  I think he gave me flowers, don’t recall.

        • Ok, I just thought it was funny!  Imagining being in the delivery room in pain swearing at your husband...he then feels guilty you have to go through all the pain and goes out and buys you a gift! But now, women are expecting it, and even requesting what they want! Ha ha.

        • Hmmm, let’s see.  When the first child was born, her father took my car and went pheasant hunting.  I think the gift was the fact that he came back with the car in one piece and himself somewhat sober.  The banker sent a nice bouquet of flowers though.

          Second kid, no gift.

Third kid, possibly a rose from her father if I remember correctly.

Fourth kid, a dozen roses from my sister in law who I despise.
