        • Well we are only into it for about 4 days..... your weight, balance and how much you work out is tracked. That in itself is good. Plus it is motivating to do more work outs.
We also bought Jillian from the biggest loser workout game.

        • I love my Wii fit!  Your first fit age is always high.  Then they lower.  Mine is usually 28-35, and I'm 40 !  There is a new fitness game coming out for Wii, called EA Active, I think.  I saw it on Ellen, and it looks awesome!

        • I just checked my Wii Fit Balance Board Operation Manual, and the official weight limit is 330 lbs.  I hope this is helpful!

There are some activities with the Wii, such as bowling, golf, etc., that don’t require the balance board or the Wii Fit game, if the weight limit is a concern.  I do like the board, because I find it more reliable than my own scales.  It allows you to chart your progress in both weight and body mass index (BMI), and you can keep track of your daily minutes of activity and what kind of activity you are getting.  I find that using the Wii Fit to do a quick body test every day keeps me accountable!

          Good luck!

        • I have it. The hula hoop is so much fun. The yoga has been a challenge. My poor Wii Fit has been sitting gathering dust for a few weeks. Thanks for the reminder to get it back out and USE it.

        • The fact that you have to balance as well as do the workouts has really improved my balance a lot.  I love the mix of things available for you to do, no matter how you are feeling or your physical condition.

        • I LOVE WII FIT! It really brings out the competitive nature too. My 24 year old niece & I are always trying to bust the others score. Then we don’t say anything, we just wait until the other finds out.

I’m a downhill skiing goddess (and soccer fool)  - and she rocks down the river. The balance games are the most fun, and for me, the Yoga is the most challenging. Can’t wait to try the new games.

        • We love our WII.  We have had it for about a year.  It is great for company and we all bowl or do other things on WII Sports.   We have the WII Fit and I love it for the step aerobics, and the hula hoops are fun too!  My son loves walking the tight rope and boxing.

I am hoping to get the E Active for my b-day.  It looks like it would be fun also. It is about 60.00 here.  Meijer had it on sale the other day for 40.00.  Good deal!

        • I purchased the Wii System and Wii Fit & Wii Board last year for my birthday and I only played the Tennis, Bowling, Boxing, etc. Well about a month ago I decided to finally break out the wii fit and the board. OMG! I LOVED IT.. so much that I purchased the Wii Fit Plus software—there is so much more on there (as well as the exercises from the original Wii Fit).  I even have a Mii for my little doggie Chanel and she gets her stats just like me - LOL!    I love the yoga and strength excercises. I need some really help with the coordiation exercises - LOL. With the Wii Fit Plus, I like how you can have Wii pick a routine for you or you can pick you own routines to achieve your goal.I am so thrilled I have this! I can exercise in my own home, at my own pace and at my own comfort level (which is very important to me).  I haven’t been on it much in the last week because it has snowed so much here and just shoveling out has been a workout in itself - then I was sick for 3 days last week. SO THIS WEEKEND! Chanelboo and I are back to our workout plan.

        • I don’t have one yet.  But,I am showing my son how to save by saving x amount of money from each of my pay checks (which are way to small) to get me a Wii.  He’s wanting a PS3 so it’s a race between us as to who will save the most up first to buy.  We both save the same amount only he gets paid EVERY week. But, I’m not about to be outwitted by a 16 year old.  I will achieve my goal and get my Wii or should I say we we! estatic
