I was curious as I cook for mine. Especially in the winter. I want them to have good hot meals. And they get their greenies every morning. I think they should be spoilt...?..

        • I don’t cook specifically for Amos, but in the winter time I do heat up canned food to mix in with his kibbles.  I try to do this at least once, but sometimes more when it is severely cold out.  Don’t worry, he has a very nice insulated bed in the corner of the garage and the kennel is wrapped in tarps.  It also has a solid roof overhead.

        • One of our greyhounds is allergic to most foods, including all kibble and store bought treats, so he eats a raw (BARF - bones and raw food) diet. His diet consists of turkey, fish and some veggies. The only cooking I do is the veggies that cannot be eaten raw and we dehydrate turkey meat for treats.
The things we do for our dogs...but they deserve it for all they give us in return.

        • Gave my goldy table scraps for awhile, then he developed pancreatitis.  It was caused by all of the fat content, so be careful on what you give the critters.

        • My husband does most of the cooking and he rarely makes dinner that he doesn’t reserve some to mix with the dog’s food.

        • If I knew how to cook I probably would do it for my dog. My poor husband does all of the cooking & when he makes chicken we definitely share with her and our 3 cats.
