      Hi estatic,
I’m new to this group and I noticed that the last entry was quite a while ago. If anyone does read this, how was your pain today? Mine was so-so, I’d say a 7 on a scale of 1 - 10 with  being awesome and 10 being Oh Dear God it hurts!

      Love it

        • Yes, I do keep track of this group..my pain level has been 7-8 lately, due to changes in weather, stress during this time of year, over-doing it...trying to slow down.

        • Hi I am new to the site. And just happened to see this. My mother has Fibromyalgia at first I witnessed so much pain in her eyes. Took her to the hospital on several occasions because she just could not move. The steriods seem to help but just temporarily so right what seems to work is lyrica.  We try walking to keep her moving but she has her moments.

        • Hello all, It’s wonderful to be apart of this group and share and communicate with people that share the same factors everyday. I guess that no one has actuallly posted to this group in over two years, so either you’ve been cured (hallelujah) or moved on. I any case I hope all are doing well in spirits, because this does tend to get me down from time to time because my mind says “oh yea let’s go do this or that” then my body says “woman have you lost your mind”

        • Hi Chris! Glad to meet you.  No I have not been cured, I struggle with this every day.  The pain(from the fibro) and inflammation (from my osteoarthritis) gets me down...but constantly being on medication is a downer too.  I eat very well, try to get exercise the best I can and keep myself busy with different things.  Unfortunately, right now I have been dealing with a sinus inflammatory process, which is really lagging on. I am scheduled for CT scans and then a trip to my GP for some different meds to try.

Hope you can find a treatment that works for you, we can chat whenever you need to.estatic

        • FIRST TIME I’ve actually seen this group!  My main thing is my RA, but I also have Fibro, degenerative disc disease in my neck and lower back, osteoporosis (severe) and osteoarthritis-plus a shoulder that has several issues.

I have to say mornings are the worst-but I keep moving and walking.  somedays I’m able to do 3 miles at once and others, well, if I do a mile a couple of various times, I’m thrilled.

I’m on a constant hamster treadmill of epidurals and it’s no fun.
