      DON'T HURRY, BE PATIENT!

"So when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where
      He was."
      John 11:6 NKJV

The Word tells us that Jesus loved Martha, her sister Mary and their brother
Lazarus (v.5). However, when the sisters sent a message to Jesus saying their
brother Lazarus was sick, He stayed where He was, two more days. Jesus knew the
journey was long, and by the time He arrived, Lazarus had been dead for 4 days.
Of course we know that Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead...But what we see here
is that Jesus was not in a hurry, but He took His time. The message today is,
      'don't hurry, be patient.'

In another situation, Jairus, one of the rulers of the synagogue, came to Jesus
and told Him that his daughter was lying at the point of death. Jesus did not
rush to her. In fact as Jesus was going with Jairus, a woman who had an issue of
blood for twelve years, had touched the hem of His garment and was healed.
Because Jesus knew someone with faith had touched Him, He stopped to find out
who it was; He stopped and had a conversation; He stopped to tell her that she
was healed. While He was speaking to her, some people from the ruler's house
came and told him that the girl was now dead. But Jesus told Jairus, 'Don't be
afraid, only believe.' And when He finally came to the daughter, He raised her
      up.
But Jesus didn't run to the girl, He seemed to take His time. He appeared to be
too late. The message today is, 'don't hurry, be patient.'

Whatever you are rushing to do, stop and take a deep breath. Ask God to order
your steps and then walk in them. Don't run unless God tells you to. If you
would slow down, you would find that some things have already been worked out by
      the Father.
Remind yourself today, that you are not God. You do not need to be everywhere at
the same time, nor do you need to know everything or do everything. You need to
be patient and wait on the Lord.
Slow down and let God be God. Walk in patience and you will find that you are
      accomplishing more with less.
The message today is, 'don't hurry, be patient!'
"But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount
up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and
      not faint." Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

"BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD..." PSALM 46:10
